Network Traffic Monitoring

You can start with Network Traffic monitoring with simple up/down traffic statistics being compiled from a router or switch.  This allows you to see real bandwidth being used on an Internet connection, file server, etc.

Newer tools allow us to actually see deeper into the traffic flows, showing what type of traffic is taking the bandwidth.  You can see if the traffic is legitimate business traffic or streaming music, YouTube or AOL Instant Messenger.  We can even delay or restrict non-essential traffic.  Or even log two way text in the AOL instant messenger.

Depending on the desired use, we can perform the monitoring as a completely remote service or it may require a physical piece of hardware installed at your site.
